Working together

What does DevTrust do?

DevTrust is an AI development and sales consultancy. I take AI product ideas from the idea phase through product design, AI development and go-to-market strategy, and set up brand guidelines your team knows how to use.

Who is behind DevTrust?

DevTrust is founder-led by Brodie Duncan, an AI development and sales consultant based in Australia. The person who scopes your idea is the person who designs it, builds it and plans how it sells, so nothing gets lost between hand-offs.

Do I have to commit to every phase?

No. The work runs in phases (idea, design, build and go-to-market), and you can start wherever you are and stop after any one of them. Each phase ends with something real: a decision, a prototype, a product or a plan.

How does pricing work?

After a free intro call you get a written proposal with a scope and a fixed price for each phase, usually within a week. You can start with just the idea phase and decide from there. There's no open-ended hourly billing.

Is the first call free?

Yes. The intro call is free and takes about 30 minutes. Tell me about the idea or the product, and you'll get an honest read on whether AI fits and which phase you're actually in.

How quickly will I hear back?

Usually within one business day.

Do you work with clients outside Australia?

Yes. DevTrust is based in Australia (AEST) and works with clients worldwide.

Who owns what you build?

You do. At the end of each phase you get the work, the documentation and training, so your team owns the system and knows how to run and sell it. You own it; you don't rent it.

Can you work alongside my existing team?

Yes. Many projects involve an in-house team that will run the product afterwards. Hand-over includes documentation and training so they can take it from there.

AI development

Do I actually need AI for this?

Maybe not, and it's better to know early. The intro call and the idea phase test whether AI is the right tool before anything is built. Sometimes an off-the-shelf tool or a simpler process is the right answer. See do you need an AI consultant?

What kind of AI work do you do?

Products and features wired into your real data: assistants, automations and AI features inside web apps, evaluated and shipped properly rather than a chatbot bolted onto the corner of the page. AISiteFix is an example: an AI website audit designed, built and shipped end to end.

How do you make sure the AI is reliable?

Every AI feature is built against an evaluation set: real examples with the expected result, re-run whenever prompts, models or data change. Where a wrong answer would be costly, the product is designed so a person reviews the output before it is used. More in building an AI MVP.

Which AI models do you use?

Whichever fits the job, its quality bar and its running cost. Most products start on a hosted model through an API, kept behind a small interface in the code so the provider can be changed later without a rebuild.

What happens to my data?

How your data is handled — what's stored, where and for how long — is agreed and written down before any work starts. Where possible, systems run in accounts you own and control.

Sales & go-to-market

Can you help sell the product, not just build it?

Yes. The go-to-market phase covers who buys it, why now and how they hear about it: positioning, pricing, channels and a sales process, from the launch plan to the follow-up that turns interest into revenue. See the go-to-market checklist.

Is there ongoing support after launch?

Optionally. An ongoing retainer can cover sales support, new AI features and iteration based on what the numbers say.

Brand & free tools

What's in a brand guidelines project?

A brand guide your team can actually follow: voice, logo, colour, type and components, with plain rules and worked examples, plus a session showing your team how to apply it. The DevTrust brand guide shows the format.

Is the brand colour kit really free?

Yes, with no sign-up. The brand colour kit builds a palette with every shade and its code, checks contrast, previews it on a mock website, lets you pick fonts and exports CSS, Tailwind or JSON. Saved palettes stay in your browser; share links let you move one to another device.
